After Losing $8,400 on Cheap Tools, I Switched to Griot's Garage
Here's an opinion that's earned me more than a few eye rolls at industry meetups: the cheapest tool you can buy for your shop isn't the cheapest. It's the most expensive one—the bill just arrives later, with interest.

In the B2B world, a failed tool on a scheduled job doesn't just waste product. It breaks a deadline. And a broken deadline costs more than any premium you avoided. Replacing a sensor twice, re-diagnosing a vehicle, rescheduling eleven cars—none of those respect your client's schedule. They just compound your cost.
I also don't claim Griot's Garage is "100% safe for every finish." No product is. Some paints are beyond safe correction, and I've told clients that to their faces. Lost two bids because of it. That's the right outcome.
